I don’t usually post new songs in the morning, because it rarely fits in my mornings. When I’m trying to burst through each morning, I lean on familiar archetypes – sounds that come with a pre-determined story that I can expect to make me feel something exact. But occasionally a new song feels both fresh and familiar right out of the gate. Like this one. I wish I knew why, but I don’t yet.
